Welcome to Hoofprints
Hoofprints is an extensible testbed for route servers. It helps administrators of BGP route servers to test them before they go into production. Testcases ensure the route servers to work with a predefined smoothness and scaling requirements by simulating common load scenarios.
You can easily extend Hoofprints to test your favorite route server software. Currently Hoofprints supports Quagga and BIRD.
The Hoofprints architecture is written in Java and makes use of the JUnit and Ant libraries.
